Meteosim-TrueWind is a joint-venture formed by Meteosim and the northamerican company AWS TrueWind LLC, world leader in the development of applications and services for the wind energy industry. Our professional staff of meteorologists, engineers, and environmental specialists is field-oriented and fully conversant with large commercial projects, utility electrical systems, remote field measurements, and distributed applications. Meteosim TrueWind has the experience and scientific expertise to design and evaluate a range of energy system configurations, plus the ability to integrate appropriate computer-based solutions. The company is world leader in the application and use of mesoscale models in the wind resource studies at different resolution level.

Main products and services offered by Meteosim TrueWind are : the use of meso and microscale models applied to the wind resource assessment and prospection studies with WindSurveyTM, MesoMap and SiteWindTm comercial brands, wind plant layouts, due diligence and project revisions, wind power forecasting, and all wide range of services for the wind energy industry. Meteosim TrueWind has more than two hundred clients from private developers (Iberdrola, Endesa, Gamesa, Ecotecnia, Capital Energy, ACCIONA, Juwi..) and public governments and administrations. Meteosim S.L. is a spanish company funded in 2003 by Researchers of the University of Barcelona jointly with the northamerican company Meso Inc, specialized in the development and comercial use of mesoscale models. Meso Inc., funded in 1985, has a large experience in the comercial meteorology sector.

Meteosim activity is focused in the exploit and use of mesoscale and microscale atmospheric models. Meteosim offers a wide range of services based in its own meteorological model (Mesoscale Atmospheric Simulation System, MASS).
