Numerical weather prediction applied to sailing
Atmospheric and oceanic models can be executed at different resolutions and run lengths, from short to long term. Meteorological events from low pressure areas around 2000 km diameter to local sea breezes can be forecasted. Meteosim has real-time access to safe and reliable source of global meteorological data (models and observations). All these data allows run operationally high-resolution models adapted to the needs of individual or team competitors.
